The thesis was executed in an aim to study about the current financial analysis and evaluation system of the Company 789 and thence, propose some possible solutions for improving the company’s system of financial analysis and evaluation.

With the research objective of the thesis is to improve financial analysis and evaluation and make it to be an important tool for managing business operation, the author did study general theoretical concepts and reality about the content, system of indicators and analytical methods of financial analysis and evaluation system in the Company 789. The research is mainly based on interviews with accountants and division mangers of the company and information and research results published in Vietnamese construction industry literature.

The research methodologies used in the thesis are comparisons and ratio analysis. Real figures and documents were collected from the company’s financial statements in order to determine the development orientation and the level of variation of financial indicators.

The thesis is structured into three chapters as follows:
