In today’s business world, catching up with the development of technology is becoming one of the most important factors which will affect greatly the success of a business. The appearance of the Internet is a big outbreak in the history of world’s technology. Millions of people in the world are using this worldwide network for communicating with each other, especially through emails. This has brought about significant chance for marketers to do their marketing job via email. In practice, email marketing is no longer a new term. Organizations all over the world are using it as an effective tool to reach their clients. For the outstanding characteristics of email marketing in comparison with traditional media, this topic was chosen for studying.
In general, the purpose of this research is to find out a suitable email marketing strategy for the Cao Son company, which is expected to improve the effectiveness of its marketing activities. The research is carried out in order to find the answers for the following questions: What are the advantages and disadvantages of marketing email? What do the company’s clients think about marketing email? What do they expect from it? And how could the company create a good marketing email?
The first part of the report is the analysis of the circumstance of using email marketing currently. Email marketing is generally being used more and more widely in the world. The growing use of this marketing tool has been proved through many surveys. That’s because email marketing is of many advantages over other media such as television or radio, etc.
In the second part, the report presents the result of the email marketing survey on the clients of Cao Son company and analysis of the responses from these people. The practice is that a considerable amount of the survey participants do not pay much attention to the marketing email they received. The value of these emails is relatively limited because of unknown authors, useless content, etc.
This is the basement for the ideas in the next part which concludes some recommendation for the company to create a successful email marketing strategy.
In conclusion, with the analysis of the findings, it is hoped that the company may find a new marketing tool to use together with its former ones. In any cases, changes are always important, and this is even more vital in marketing field
