Oil price increases,lots of buses ask for ceasing the activity

TN_On the 2nd afternoon of March, Mr Phùng Đăng Hải_ Director of Hồ Chí Minh city Transportation Co_operative Union confirms with the reporter of Thanh Niên that it had 12 members of Co_operative belong to Union please cease the activity in the past week when oil price has increased over 30% .Acorrding to some co_operative members,increasing oil price led to price of some services have mass increased such as material,repair,employee...so living condition of co_operative member,driver,booking clerk are also arduous.Union has near 1,000 buses which are in stage paying capital and interest rate for State,many buses were bought outside project which unsupported interest rate to borrow capital so they have difficulties when interest rate has increased.In this circumstance, Transportation Co_operative Union has proposed urgenly to People’s Committee of HCM city,Department of Transportation and Public Works to investigate again about falling oil price and cut bus routes in the morning,evening at absent passengers routes and isn’t subsidised routes.

TN_HCM city People’s Committee has dicided to consign to Phú Mỹ B.O.T Bridge Joint Stock Company is a master investor which construct 3 routes linking with bridge,with total VND 1,247.8 billion.This is the construction project East belt road (from Phú Mỹ footbridge to Rạch Chiếc bridge) with capital investmentsVND 379,344 billion,the project build road on the hight from traffic knot’A area of Southern Sài Gòn with VND 332,11 billion.Acorrding to disicion of HCM city Poeple’Committee,Phú Mỹ Bridge Joint Stock Company will have completed construction in December 2009
